Jasper Ice House is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Our Site is designed and tested against these criteria, and we treat conformance as an ongoing commitment.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with clear headings and landmark regions.
- A visible “Skip to main content” link for keyboard users.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including an accessible off-canvas menu and age gate with focus management.
- Color combinations chosen to meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” preference in animations and transitions.
- A built-in accessibility tool offering options such as larger text, contrast adjustments, readable fonts, and reading aids.
Assistive Accessibility Tool
The Site includes an on-page accessibility tool, available from a button in the lower corner of the screen or by pressing the Shift key twice. It provides adjustments including text sizing, contrast modes, link highlighting, readable fonts, and a reading guide. These tools supplement the underlying accessible design of the Site.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you encounter a barrier, please contact us and we will work to resolve it:
